Day 8-9

These days were both travel days for us. We finished all cleaning at Hilton Head Saturday morning and were headed for Nashville by 7:30 am. This trip consisted of a lot more sleeping for everyone. We were all retry tired as expected.

When we got to Nashville, we got to take a tour of Treveca Nazerene University. It seemed to be a really good school and the campus was gorgeous. They even have a farm with goats and a few new hives. It was really cool to see a different Nazerene school than the one we live right by. For dinner, Joel found a restaurant that is inside of an old plantation house. The waiters brought it many bows of different foods and we just got to pass them around the table instead of ordering off of a menu. Some of the dishes included catfish, fried chicken, green bean, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese. It was great food and we even got invited to go upstairs and look through the house. The adults decided to go to a movie as our last activity as a group. We saw Zootopia and even though it was an adorable movie, many of us fell asleep halfway through due to the fact we had seen it before and just pure exhaustion. We got to the hotel that night and pretty much fell right asleep.

Today is our last day on the trip and we are all looking forward to gettin to sleep in our own beds and see our families soon. The ride has included much sleeping and cleaning up as the day has gone on. There was a lot of trash left from the mileage bags that we needed to clean up.

It has been such an amazing trip. I loved that I got to be with my youth group family all week and with the ex-seniors one last time. We all have made an impact in Hilton Head and I pray that everyone is proud of their work. It will be great to go home and be able to look back on this trip with my friends for the rest of my life.
