Polar Grid Tutorial

I've gotten very familiar with the polar grid tool throughout these last few projects. So I decided to teach you how to use it.


1. Select the Polar Grid Tool under the Line Tool.

2. Click once on the art board to pull up the Polar Grid Panel and choose your number of Concentric and Radial dividers. Then press okay and decide where to place your grid.

3. Use the fill and stroke color panels to decide what colors your grid will be.




4. have the grid selected and go to your Pathfinder Panel and and press the Divide button twice.

5. Then go up to Object - Ungroup, or Command+Shift+G.


6. Then select one piece of your grid and move it or delete it.

7. Mess around with different numbers of dividers and learn different ways to use it!
