Photoshop
Each of the links had a rollover animation. In order to do this we had to use the timeline feature in Photoshop. This was something I had never used before and I'm very happy to have learned something new and useful about Photoshop. It was a process of taking one beginning image and then the one we wanted to end on, and connected them through a series of frames.ChallengesSome challenges through out this process getting my type wrap to stay on constant size, and another was when the website was opened with Internet Explorer, the linked images did not work properly or look right.
What I learned
This being my first project of web design this year, I learned/remembered a lot about web design. Making sure my whole layout was exactly how I wanted it to be when making it in Photoshop was a particularly big part of the project. I also had learned about the rollover buttons and that is a very cool trick to web design that a lot of websites have. I liked how this project allowed us to creatively express ourselves with the layout and let us share some more information about ourselves with our classmates.
