We were assigned a total of four different projects. They taught us many different tools that are available to use in photoshop. I thought it was a really fun project and I want to explore photoshop even more.
SCHOOL

MONARCH
The goal of the second project was to recolor a monarch butterfly and to make it look like it was flapping its wings. We learned how to select a specific part of an image with the magic wand and adjust the hue to change the color of the spots on the wings. The next step was to make it look like it was flying, so we used the clone stamp tool to layer the edges of the wings.NORTHWEST
Our third project was to make an image appear as it was inside the letters. To do this we added a new text layer and adjusted the letters to the correct size. We then were taught how to use the text mask tool to change the different pieces of the type, such as the fill. We inverted the selection so the layer affect would change the image around the letters and the fill would become transparent. The colors for the gradient were chosen based on our school colors and the stroke around the letters were used to help the type stand out better against the background.
