The six shot sequence is made up of close ups, extra close
ups, medium shots, wide shots, and extra wide shots. A close up shows just the
subject's face, while an extra close up shows just their hands or what they are
doing. A medium shot shows the subject from the waist up and a wide shot shows
them from head to toe. An extra wide shot sets the scene showing the subject
from head to toe but also shows others in the room and where they are.
While making this video in Final Cut Pro I learned that it
is always best to make sure all of your files that you plan to use for the
video are in the same folder. I also learned to use the J and L keys to fast
forward and rewind my video to make sure it went smoothly. For my next project
I will make sure that all of my shots are correctly framed before going in to
edit. I will also take more time to perfect the transitions from shot to shot.
